Ajwa Dates
Said to be the Prophetâ€s personal favourite, Ajwa Dates are a celebrated variety of dates grown exclusively in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia.
They tend to be of a dry variety and are soft & fruity with a prune-like flavour. With a wrinkly exterior, their color ranges from dark brown to almost black.
Often consumed with Arabic coffee, Ajwa dates are a great source of fibre that benefits the digestive system. They also help improve heart health, strengthen bones & boost the immune system.
